Teaching

Over the past two decades at the University of Guelph, I have taught a variety of undergraduate courses ranging over all years, generally in linear algebra, analysis, or quantum computing, and graduate courses, usually in functional analysis or quantum information. Nowadays, I run my courses through Courselink on the University of Guelph system, and so I won’t post teaching materials here going forward.

Below are some pictures from inspiring teaching experiences I had while teaching courses at AIMS centres in Africa.

During November 2016 I taught a graduate course called “Introduction to Quantum Computing” at AIMS-Cameroon with Jeremy Levick (UoG-AIMS). Picture below is me with some of the class and staff at the centre.

During November 2015 I taught a graduate course called “Introduction to Quantum Computing” at AIMS-Ghana with Bernd Schroers (Heriot-Watt University) and Jeremy Levick (UoG-AIMS). Class picture is below.

During November and December 2014, I taught a graduate course called “Quantum Information. A Selected Mathematical Introduction” at AIMS-South Africa. Class picture is below.
